The Rock led 7-6 at halftime before outscored LHU 4-1 in the third and 6-2 in the fourth to cruise to the win. Slippery Rock outscored Lock Haven 10-2 in the second half to pull away for a 17-9 win at home in the first meeting this spring.

SRU has not won on the road at Lock Haven since 1989. The Rock have won back-to-back games in the series for the first time ever after closing 2022 with a win over LHU and picking up a 17-9 win in the first meeting between the teams earlier this spring.

Since 2017, Slippery Rock is 4-5 in the series. The Bald Eagles won 16 straight games in the series between 19. Lock Haven owns a 36-6-1 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to 1976. The Bald Eagles are coming off a 14-11 loss at Mercyhurst Saturday. Lock Haven enters the game with a 4-8 overall record and a 2-5 mark in PSAC West games.
